Dear Applicant:
By clicking on the form below you can apply for a DBMAT Intervener Training Scholarship. Monies for this initiative have been set aside in a DBMAT special fund. This fund is used specifically for the education for persons working with deafblind individuals.
The recipient of this scholarship will be able to apply to the Utah University in Salt Lake City, Utah. These courses are completely available on-line. The website for this course is: Deafblindness Online Certificate
The deafblind training program includes two courses - Introduction to Deafblindness and Combined Vision and Hearing Loss . Each course is worth 4 semester hours of university credit. Upon completion of the courses, a student will receive a certificate of completion from Utah State University.
